This refreshing & vibrant version of a favorite holiday side dish is abundant with healthy fresh fruits and flavor. I love to include a bowl of this relish on my vegan Thanksgiving table in addition to this classic simple cranberry orange sauce.

Cranberry pineapple relish is made of raw fresh cranberries, pineapple, orange and apples that have been chopped and combined with maple syrup and spice. Its refreshingly fruity & tart flavor makes it a wonderful condiment to enjoy with savory and sweet holiday dishes, like our herbed tofu slices, simple homemade vegan stuffing and maple cranberry yams.

    Notes

🥕Use any variety apple you prefer. I used Granny Smith or Honeycrisp in this recipe.
🥕You can use fresh, froze or canned pineapple. I like to keep it easy so I used canned pineapple chunks packed in juice.
🥕Be sure to remove as much of the white pith as you can from your orange segments. It can add a bitter flavor, so less is better.
🥕Since this relish is made from fresh fruits, it is best consumed within one or two days. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.

This recipe is eye-appealing and contains such healthy and delicious ingredients. So glad it's cranberry season and I intend to make this dish often (I'll pin this post). Think I'll leave out the maple syrup as the pineapple and orange gives it enough sweetness for me. Best wishes for a wonderful autumn season.
