This refreshing & vibrant version of a favorite holiday side dish is abundant with healthy fresh fruits and flavor. I love to include a bowl of this relish on my vegan Thanksgiving table in addition to this classic simple cranberry orange sauce.

Cranberry pineapple relish is made of raw fresh cranberries, pineapple, orange and apples that have been chopped and combined with maple syrup and spice. Its refreshingly fruity & tart flavor makes it a wonderful condiment to enjoy with savory and sweet holiday dishes, like our herbed tofu slices, simple homemade vegan stuffing and maple cranberry yams.

    🥕FAQ's

Can this recipe be prepared in advance?

Since this cranberry pineapple relish is made with raw fresh fruits and not cooked, I would suggest preparing it no more than a few hours before serving. I think it tastes best while the apples and cranberries are still slightly crisp. Fortunately, it is so quick to prepare and won't take up oven space, it's one of those dishes that can be made at the last minute, if needed.

How should leftover cranberry pineapple relish be stored?

Refrigerate it in a covered airtight container up to 3 days.

    Notes

🥕Use any variety apple you prefer. I used Granny Smith or Honeycrisp in this recipe.
🥕You can use fresh, froze or canned pineapple. I like to keep it easy so I used canned pineapple chunks packed in juice.
🥕Be sure to remove as much of the white pith as you can from your orange segments. It can add a bitter flavor, so less is better.
🥕Since this relish is made from fresh fruits, it is best consumed within one or two days. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
